About The Event

ICODES 2026 is an international virtual conference organized by the Communication Study Program of Universitas Negeri Malang, bringing together scholars, practitioners, and educators to discuss developments in digital communication.

The conference focuses on the rise of "Algorithmic Societies," where artificial intelligence and automated systems have transformed how information is produced, distributed, and consumed. These changes also affect social interaction, privacy, and democratic processes, highlighting the need for deeper ethical considerations.
